Hiking Grand Canyon

To celebrate my birthday in 2003, we took a family trip to Bryce, Zion and Grand Canyon National Parks.

Here we are on Wednesday morning at the trail head about to descend the South Kaibab Trail to Phantom Ranch where we spent three days.

My cousin Ron who works for the park concessionaire Xanterra Parks & Resorts and with whom we stayed the previous evening took this photo. He had to work but hiked down on Saturday and met us at Indian Gardens on our way back up.
