CLASS C

Corinth (1-3, 2-3)

at Cambridge (3-1, 3-2), 1 p.m.

Corinth: The Tomahawks need a win to stay in the hunt for the fourth and final Class C North playoff slot. C.J. Saunders and Mike Rubel have been productive out of the backfield, with Saunders rushing for 189 yards in last week's 41-0 rout of Stillwater.

Cambridge: The Indians looked impressive in a 42-28 non-league loss at Hudson Falls last week, piling up 435 yards total offense, including 204 passing yards from Kyle Parmenter, and 174 on the ground from Alex Bell.

Fast fact: Cambridge leads the all-time series 17-4-1, including the last 10 meetings in a row. Corinth last beat the Indians in 1988.

Schuylerville (4-0, 5-0)

at Stillwater (0-4, 1-4), 1 p.m.

Schuylerville: The Black Horses cruised to a 44-6 victory over Mechanicville last week, as Austin Bateman scored two TDs and passed for two more to Brad Lyon. Shane Larkin added a pair of TDs, as well. They held Mechanicville to 51 total yards.

Stillwater: The injury-riddled Warriors have lost back-to-back 41-0 games, and gained just 66 total yards at Corinth last week.

Fast fact: Schuylerville leads the series 23-14-1, winning the last five in a row.

CLASS B

Broadalbin-Perth (1-1, 2-3)

at Hudson Falls (3-1, 4-1), 1:30 p.m.

B-P: The Patriots have come oh-so-close to being 4-1 this season, losing close games to Ravena and Cobleskill. B-P is led by QB Corey Caswell, running back Kurt Smith and receiver Thann Akey.

Hudson Falls: The Tigers racked up 500 yards total offense in last week's victory over Cambridge, including 253 yards an four TDs from tailback Joe McMurry. However, they also gave up a lot of yards and points to the Indians, so Hudson Falls must regroup on defense.

Fast fact: B-P leads the series 5-3, including last year's 48-14 win over the Tigers.

CLASS D

Bishop Gibbons (3-2)

at Fort Edward (3-2), 1 p.m.

Gibbons: Derrick Pitts scored six touchdowns in leading the Golden Knights to a 60-19 win over Saratoga Catholic last week, but they just missed the No. 2 seed in Class D South. Pitts, a junior QB, has scored 17 TDs this season.

Fort Edward: Tyler Carpenter and Bobby Phillips both scored three TDs for the Flying Forts in last week's 54-0 win over Whitehall.

Fast fact: The Forts have won eight of nine meetings with Gibbons, including twice last year. The Knights may be looking for payback for last year's 78-7 playoff loss.

CLASS A

Burnt Hills (3-0, 5-0)

at South Glens Falls (0-3, 0-5), 1:30 p.m.

Burnt Hills: The Spartans have outscored their opponents 248-21 this season. Last week, Paul Layton passed for three TDs to lead Burnt Hills to a 48-7 win over Glens Falls.

South High: The Bulldogs have been outscored 112-13 in their last two games, allowing 56 points to both Glens Falls and Gloversville.

Fast fact: South High's only win in five tries against Burnt Hills came in 1992, the Bulldogs' last winning season.

NON-LEAGUE

Schalmont (4-1) at Granville (2-3), 1:30 p.m.

Schalmont: Vince Gallo has rushed for 885 yards and 12 TDs this season for the Sabres, who are on a four-game winning streak since losing to Albany Academy 20-16 on opening day.

Granville: The Golden Horde suffered a frustrating 24-14 loss to Hoosick Falls last week, as they gave up two quick TDs in the fourth quarter to allow the Panthers to pull away.

Fast fact: This Class B-C crossover game is the first-ever meeting of these schools in football.
