Voters 2004

In 2004 for the first time, Shane has taken an interest in politics. We are all proud of him. This is pretty rare for a12-year-old.

It shouldn't be too surprising that his political preferences did not align with those of his elders.

.I'm proud that Shane at 13 is interested enough to follow the elections and is really quite articulate about why he supports Bush. 

As I told Shane, Thomas Jefferson had it right. We may disagree with what someone says (in particular a grandchild), but will defend to our deaths their right to say it.
