The First Day of School 2005

Riley-Beth

"Riley - adorable and sweet as ever." - Mom

"Riley-Beth is in 7th grade and loves the 'freedom' that goes along with being a middle schooler. She changes classes and loves that. She is still in the local elementary as it is a K-8 school. Unfortunately, they don't have lockers, so she has to carry her backpack around all day! She has all her basic classes and is in Honor Chorus and will try out for the basketball and softball teams soon."
   

Zack 

"Zack is on the right with the yellow shirt and thumbs-up! The other two are Brock and Rob, his best friends."

Zack is a senior this year and taking a full class load. He is teacher assisting in a Spanish 1/2 class. (He is in Spanish 7/8). He has probability/statistics, government, a lit class and just for fun he's running the Young Democrats club again this year."

"The reason Zack and friends do not look very happy? They were nearly out of Anthem, heading to Starbucks when I put my motherly foot down and said 'Get your butt back here and get your first day of school picture taken.' I asked for a smile and got a forced thumbs up. Oh, well...."

   

Nick

"Nick is a sophomore this year and has his plate full also. He has Chemistry, World Civ. (do they still call it that?), English/Lit, Geometry and has joined the Young Dems at his school also."

"Nick's picture? No explanation."
