Ron Celebrated a Birthday

The "happy birthday cowboy" was going along with the cowboy theme. He's been out here long enough to qualify as an honorary cowboy, don't ya' think? -Lori

Ron has a Surprise Birthday Party

August 18, 2004

...Lori and the gang are coming up to Prescott this weekend for the annual Cowboy Poets Gathering at Sharlott Hall Museum...How "western" is that for a bunch of Rhode Islanders!... --Ron

We surprised Ron with a surprise party on Saturday. Cowboy theme of course!!...The seven candles have no significance except that we (me, Nick and Riley) couldn't agree on how many candles to put on. I said 5 (he's closer to fifty than forty). 48 candles is just too many to blow out! (He couldn't even handle the 7 we put on <grin>) --Lori

A LARGE Bottle of Ale

Well, I don't know what ASI stands for. Ron made the pictures smaller because I always send (as you well know) HUGE pictures because I don't know how to shrink them. So I sent them to him first so he could do it for me. Maybe you could give me a hint or two on that subject?

Arrogant Bastard was the name on the bottle of Ale that I gave to Ron for his birthday. It just caught my eye! I also bought Ron a nice bottle of Merlot so when I visit I can have a drink! I'm always thinking :-)

The picture of the singing group had no tie to his surprise party except that he sure does love cowboy music! It was a fun day, but I don't think I'll be buying any CD's very soon!

...and we still love our little town of Prescott -- bluegrass and folk music festivals, rodeos and Indian markets, blue skies and clear mountain air...
