"James Patrick aka Seamus Larkin
(3/16/1894 - 8/3/63)
married Martha Magahran (pronounced Mag-arn') (18?? - 1/15/42) Martha
had a premonition of her death while pregnant with 4th child and started
making plans for the children in anticipation of her death. Therese had
orthopedic problems requiring surgery, so she was of special concern. Martha's
sister Mary and husband John (who were childless
themselves) agreed to take Therese and continue medical
treatment. Martha and child died during childbirth. Marie
and John stayed with father. Martha's mother moved into
the home and raised Marie and John. Seamus
was employed as a customs and excise officer in Dublin in the Republic of
Ireland and was only home episodically on weekends." -Caitlin

from St. Hugh's Academy and was working as a secretary. The Cafferty's

excitement, his birth was registered in the district of Govan in the
county of Lanark. The certificate is dated July 3, 1895." -Maureen
Larkin Wright
Claire was the daughter of Dr. Daniel
