Jon's birthday was June 19. That weekend his mother invited five of his friends over for a party and sleep-over. He is shown above celebrating in standard 8-year-old-boy style --  by strangling a buddy.

It was a just for fun special occasion that Diana (sister-in-law) had for the kids sometime Dec. 1999. The picture was taken in Michael (Steve) and Diana's dining room.
