My Graduation Party at Lake Tahoe

Some friends held a party for me at their home in Incline Village on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. 

Roughly 40 people came, including my mother from Upstate New York, my sister Billi Jo from Texas, Aunt Maureen from Virginia, and Uncle Brian from Washington, DC.

The family (mother, father, infant) on my left is part of "The Washington Connection. Denise and I work together. When I was promoted, she got my old job. Her husband's mother works with Aunt Elizabeth in Washington at the NSF. On one occasion, news got to Denise's husband via the DC-Connection before she could tell him :)
