Adrianna (or Dria, as she prefers to be called) is the daughter of Paige and Everett Carpenter. She and her family recently moved from the
Washington DC metro area and currently reside near Richmond, VA.
 Dria finished middle school this year at Hayfield Secondary School, and she will enter the 9th grade at Atlee High School in the fall.
Clearly a member of the "eccentric and creative" Larkin family, Dria aspires to become more than just a "drama queen", planning for a future career in theater. Ever the pragmatist, she does have a fall-back career in mind as a history teacher.
Dria is the big sister of two young siblings, Alex and Katie. She is currently spending the month of July earning big bucks (for a teenager) by babysitting her brother and sister while Mom is in school and Dad is busy being a chemist and professor. Whatever else can be said of
Dria, we must all give her credit for being an excellent big sister.
Reading and listening to music are Dria's favorite pastimes. She also enjoys swimming and, of course, shopping at the mall. Having received a season pass to Kings Dominion for Christmas, Dria boasts that she has ridden every ride in the park that she's allowed to go on without taking a toddler with her.
Dria also enjoys Aunt Maureen's cooking. She is reported to have said, following an AM prepared meal, "Aunt Maureen must do the cooking around here more often!" (Although her mother resents the implied slight to her own cooking, it must be admitted that AM is an excellent chef and is certainly welcome to grace our kitchen whenever possible.)
